The shortest path is not always the fastest, Gravity matters!

Fastest route might not always be a straight line, It can be curved…

Generally, when we think to move from point A to point B, the shortest distance that pops into our mind is a Straight line. Of course, over the years, we’ve learned the same and believed that it is the only fastest route. But Physics, as usual, has an amazing concept which blows our minds.

Brachistochrone is a problem in physics put forward by Bernoulli in the 17th century. So what actually is that? For ease, we can call it a Cycloid curve. He explained how gravity plays a role along, making it the fastest route. Hence, proved what working efficiently doesn’t always make you efficient.

This is really a Metaphor of life, where it shows how really table can turn with the different thought processes and that mindset. We always get advised by others as a straight path towards our goal is efficient and all diversions are waste and distractive. But have they ever tried? Are they in your shoe facing whatever you’re going through? Why not try other ways which might accelerate us towards our goal?

Only you should be responsible for whatever you’re choosing. Life is all about experimenting and embracing those experiences. Those experiences will work the same as what gravity does to the Cycloid curve, they’ll accelerate you towards your aspirations.
