Reflection
One day when we have moved ahead in life,
leaving everything behind us,
we will look back upon what will be memories.
Some scorched vividly on our minds,
some scattered in tid bits.
Some to cherish, some to ponder upon.
Some will bring tears, some will raise questions.
Choices we made, humans we had.
All that we gave, all that we got.
The joy, the pain.
The efforts, the hurts.
It will be like a prism.
The memories pass through it like a ray of light,
branching into many colors.
All colors reflect the whole complex journey of emotions.
Fun to watch just like the fireworks.
A loss
I saw you in the depths of night,
your eyes as cold as stones.
The love long lost intertwined,
buried deep down to mourn.
The moonlit grave of moments fine,
crumbling away to waste.
The one you dug with steady hands,
in such utter haste.
All will turn to ash and dirt,
a heap of soil so high,
I’m sure you won’t even remember it
the next time you walk by.
Moon Light
I looked upwards into the sky
and saw the moon stare back at me,
Shining with all its pomp and pride,
making me burn in jealousy.
I made a face, showing distate,
and hated its audacity,
It Somehow found it quite funny
to mock me with disparity.
Surrounded by stars in the ocean black
it has been nothing short of rude lately,
Hiding, moving, appearing, grooving,
flexing all in its translucent glory.
It follows me wherever I go
and thinks I like bathing in its light,
I don’t know how to let it know that
if it doesn’t stop there will be a fight!
With soo many flaws and no light of its own,
it is still loved by so many,
And here we are in this cruel place
where even the slightest of scars
aren’t accepted by any.
One lucky chap this moon
must be what with all its imperfections in ton,
The world will always keep praising its beauty
as long as it’s stealing the light from the sun…
The King
In the depth of night,
when silence falls down,
I wish on his head I could place the crown.
His features n ways all aside,
to show him I stand at a king’s side.
Let silence be my only words,
for all those feelings unshared unheard.
Not knowing where this path might go,
not knowing if he will ever know…
The moon and its shadow intertwined,
I be his reflection and the king be mine…
Not knowing where this path might go,
not knowing if he will ever know…

Sailing away
After being the night filling skies with stars,
you become my dawn healing all my scars
I glide along with you on the shadowy paths,
you managing other businesses,
me taking care of our hearts
Holding the hands is enough to let all fears go,
may our boat keep sailing without the need to row
Dedicated to the charioteer
